Services
Green Channel is a customs broker providing cargo clearance in Lviv and throughout Western Ukraine. We support import, export and transit shipments by reviewing documents, classifying goods, estimating customs charges and coordinating declarations for the selected procedure and route.
We manage end-to-end cargo customs clearance, from the initial shipment review through release. Our support covers all applicable customs procedures for goods permitted to cross the border.
We prepare electronic customs, preliminary and transit declarations, check data before submission and represent the client in communications with customs through completion of the agreed procedures.
We determine the Ukrainian HS code from the product specifications, review evidence of customs value and estimate applicable duty, VAT, excise and other customs charges.
We review the foreign trade contract, invoice, packing list, specification and product description, together with the CMR, TIR Carnet, bill of lading, air waybill or rail consignment note as applicable.
We review origin evidence and eligibility for tariff preferences, and support preparation of EUR.1 or EUR-MED certificates when required by the route and applicable trade arrangements.
We identify applicable licences, certificates and conclusions. For food, plants, animal products and other regulated goods, we review phytosanitary, veterinary and other relevant control requirements.
For international transit, we assess T1, ENS and entry summary requirements and coordinate the border crossing, customs terminal and documentation for the country of entry and destination.
We support companies and entrepreneurs whose shipments require customs clearance in Lviv or travel through Lviv region. Work starts with a remote review of documents and cargo specifications, followed by agreement on the customs procedure, terminal and place of completion for the specific shipment.
For shipments through Lviv region, we consider the Krakivets — Korczowa, Shehyni — Medyka, Rava-Ruska — Hrebenne, Hrushiv — Budomierz and Smilnytsia — Kroscienko routes. We verify whether a crossing can accept the specific vehicle and goods before dispatch; the border crossing is not always the final place of clearance.
Lviv region — Lviv; Volyn region — Lutsk and Kovel; Rivne region — Rivne; Zakarpattia region — Uzhhorod and Mukachevo; Ivano-Frankivsk region — Ivano-Frankivsk; Ternopil region — Ternopil; Chernivtsi region — Chernivtsi; Khmelnytskyi region — Khmelnytskyi and Kamianets-Podilskyi.
We welcome enquiries from regional capitals and other communities in these regions. The clearance location is agreed for each shipment: the border crossing and the customs terminal may be in different places.
Fresh, chilled, frozen and processed produce, berries and other food products. Before dispatch, we review the consignment, packaging, temperature requirements and documentation for applicable controls.
Grain, seeds, feed, plants, flowers and agricultural equipment. We review the origin and intended use of the goods, delivery terms and required permits.
Machine tools, components, electronics, spare parts, building materials, textiles, furniture and consumer goods. We help prepare product descriptions for classification and declaration.
We support commercial consignments of different sizes. Dangerous goods, excise goods and other regulated products are assessed individually after checking transport and clearance requirements.
We clear a wide range of commercial cargo: food, agricultural goods, raw materials, equipment, components, electronics, textiles, furniture, timber, packaging, cosmetics, medical devices, chemicals and other permitted products. Dangerous, excise and other regulated goods are accepted after reviewing restrictions, permits and availability of the required controls.
We consider routes through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, as well as Moldova for shipments through Chernivtsi region. The following crossings are reference points for planning, not interchangeable freight routes.
Not every crossing handles every cargo category. Before dispatch, we check current operating arrangements, weight restrictions, availability of relevant controls and the final clearance location.

We support import, export and transit clearance, as well as applicable re-import, re-export, temporary admission and export, inward or outward processing, customs warehousing and other procedures under the Customs Code of Ukraine.
The procedure, document set and clearance location are selected after reviewing the transaction, origin, intended use and specifications of the goods. Where needed, we verify the company’s customs registration and the representative’s authority.
For an initial estimate, provide the invoice, foreign trade contract where available, packing list, specification and accurate product description, country of origin, value, weight and transport documents such as a CMR, bill of lading, air waybill or rail consignment note.
